About Us
Why Ulbricht HR Consulting is More Cost-Effective Than Hiring In-House HR
For small businesses, hiring an in-house HR professional comes with significant costs beyond just salary. Here’s how my consulting services provide a more competitive and financially sound alternative:
1. Lower Overall Cost
The average salary for an in-house HR professional ranges from $60,000 to $100,000+ per year. plus benefits. Employers must also factor in payroll taxes, insurance, retirement contributions, and other overhead costs, easily adding 25–40% to the base salary.
Our consulting services start at $65 per hour*, and ourad hoc package options are structured to deliver expert-level HR support at a fraction of the cost of a full-time hire.
2. No Long-Term Commitment or Fixed Payroll Expense
Hiring an in-house HR team means committing to full-time salaries regardless of workload.
With Ulbricht HR Consulting, you pay only for the HR support you need—scaling up or down based on your business’s needs without the financial strain of maintaining a permanent HR department.
3. Immediate Access to HR Expertise Without Training Costs
A full-time HR hire may require onboarding, training, and ongoing development, which takes time and money. Our consulting services provide instant expertise in performance management, employee engagement, leadership development, and compliance—without the learning curve.
4. Flexibility & Scalability
Small businesses may not need HR support 40 hours a week. Instead of paying for unused time, my hourly and package-based consulting allows you to get tailored HR support when you need it. As your business grows, you can adjust your level of HR support without the complexity of hiring, onboarding, or restructuring roles.
5. No Hidden Costs & Complete Transparency- Unlike hiring in-house, where you must cover recruitment fees, benefits, and operational expenses, my pricing is clear, with no hidden fees or long-term obligations.
The Bottom Line
For small businesses, hiring an in-house HR professional can cost over $100,000 per year, while my consulting services offer the same level of expertise, flexibility, and strategic HR support for a fraction of the cost. With Ulbricht HR Consulting, you get expert HR guidance without the overhead, risk, or long-term commitment—allowing you to focus on growing your business.
